Azalea Glen Groundbreaking, Sunday, July 23rd at 2:00 p.m.
Catawba County's newest Active Adult community will be officially breaking ground on Sunday, July 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at its Radio Station Road site in Newton. The City of Newton has approved the construction of 67 one-level town homes and a clubhouse for the age 55+ community. Phase I of Azalea Glen will include the first 19 homes to be located on Lawyers Lane next to the Catawba County Government Center complex. The public is invited to be a part of this community event and to learn more about what Azalea Glen will be offering. Come be a part of a little piece of Catawba County's history. An Open House from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm will be held at the on-site Azalea Glen sales office.
