Leadership Catawba 2015-2016

Leadership Catawba  is a program that pulls together people of diverse histories and experiences who have demonstrated leadership potential throughout our community and strengthens their leadership abilities while teaching them about the social, economic and political dynamics that shape our country.

 

Leadership Catawba will educate participants on key issues Catawba County is currently facing and introduce them to the leaders who are charged with solving them.  The program will also engage participants in activities related to these key issues, strengthen leadership skills needed to be an effective and influential leader, and build relationships that will enable participants to be informed, concerned and involved leaders in Catawba County.

Each Leadership Catawba graduate will be given a specific opportunity to serve in a number of designated community leadership or service roles during the program and the year following graduation.  The program is specifically geared to transition graduates into vital and needed community service opportunities.
