Proprietors Ralph and Patricia Hatch would like to invite you to the ribbon cutting for Sweet Tea Bed & Breakfast on Thursday, October 26th at 4:30 pm.
The Hatch's began forming the dream of Sweet Tea Bed and Breakfast when first viewing the house when it was listed for sale on the real estate market. The house, which was completed in 1920, had not been lived in since the turn of the century and was deteriorating quickly. The Hatch’s saw the potential in the house and the hard work began! Every surface of the house had to be repaired, restored, painted and cleaned. With the help of a few professionals, the house became a “Home” in the autumn of 2017. Sweet Tea features items and pictures of the historic Conover and Catawba County. Visitors staying at Sweet Tea Bed & Breakfast enjoy a home cooked southern style breakfast daily created by Innkeeper Ralph. Items featured are from the Catawba Valley region whenever possible, including farm fresh eggs, local sausage and fruits and vegetables from our local farmers markets. Free Wi-Fi and many flat screen tv’s are offered throughout home. Sweet Tea B&B is perfect for a romantic getaway, business travelers or a unique change of pace-experience our southern hospitality!
